Bona R850T is a higher viscous version of Bona R850. The, according to ISO 17178, hard-elastic 1-component silane based adhesive has been developed especially for the application with the Bona OptiSpread system, but it can be applied also manually. The adhesive can be used for almost all kind of wooden floors, in particular for the installation of solid elements in bigger formats. The hardened adhesive is - similar to conventional adhesives - able to withhold thrust during expansion, while the resistance against shrinkage is very low. Tensions to the sub floor are therefore reduced. The use of a primer is generally not necessary.
